New Friends!

The boys now have a new girl friend! My good friend Andy came for a quick visit with her 14 month old daughter Lilly. It was the first time all the kids got to meet and they had a great time playing together. My boys are such flirts! I was worried about Lilly keeping up with Michael and Logan (who love to play rough) but as you can see by the last pictures I think she was the one who wore them out! We tried two different photo shoots (one before snack time and one after) and the last one didn't go so well for Logan and Michael. Logan was so tired he was just glad to be left in the chair by himself:):)

Brian and I leave next weekend for my big marathon day. The good news is that I made it through my 22 mile run and felt really good about it. The bad news is that since then my shin has been bothering me and I feel like I could be getting a stress fracture. I am going to start out attempting to run the full marathon but if my shin gets too bad I may have to drop down to the half. It's disappointing to get an injury this far into my training, but I don't want to hurt it any worse and not able to run now that the weather is finally so nice. No matter what it will be a fun weekend get away for Brian and I and the boys will get to spend the weekend with Grandma and Grandpa Jent. At this point I am just ready to be done with the race and get back to my stroller runs with the boys:):)

Bookworms!

The boys LOVE books! Right now they think they are a lot of fun to play with and like to look at the pictures. As you can see, Logan couldn't decide which one he wanted to look at and Michael was taking the ones Logan didn't want:):)

Happy Easter!

I thought it would be fun to post some pictures from last Easter to show how Logan and Michael have grown. This is the boys in my old Easter basket from last year.
And this is the same Easter basket that they fit in last year...plus their new baskets. All their eggs were filled with cheerios of course!

20 down 26.2 to go.....

I am finally in the end stages of training for my marathon! I ran my first 20 mile run last Sunday and have one more to go before the race. Even though I am a lot slower than I was pre-babies, I think I enjoy it more now. It is really my only time away from the boys....and after a while you kind of forget that you are running:):)I've done probably 80 percent of my runs in the dark (5am) and now that it is warming up, I am ready to have some day light runs with the boys in their jogging stroller:):) I am posting a funny picture that was taken after they got a bath. They love to explore any cabinet or drawer....at least it keeps them occupied while I take turns getting them dressed! Hope everyone has a good Easter! I'm sure I will have lots of Easter pictures to post!
