Pumpkins!

Last Thursday, we headed down to a local park to have our family pictures taken by one of our favorite photographers. After a very successful photo shoot with lots of smiles from the boys, Brian decided to take the entire day off work and have some Fall fun with the boys. We went out to lunch and then on to the pumpkin patch. I don't think I will ever be able to get Brian to go back on a weekend again. We had the entire pumpkin patch to ourselves and took a private hayride out to get our pumpkins. It was such a great day! ALL the boys loved every minute:)

Apples!

We all love everything about Fall at our house! The boys couldn't wait to head to the orchard to pick lots and lots of apples. We came home with 16 pounds worth of apples and made several kinds of yummy treats. So far the boys favorite has been carmel dipped apples. This is one of our favorite fall activities! 10 years of wedded bliss!

On September 16, 2010 Brian and I celebrated our 10th anniversary! Grandma and Grandpa kept the boys overnight so we could enjoy a night out on the town and kid free breakfast the next morning. We had a lot of fun and are ready to see what the next 10 years have in store for us!

Swim.Bike.Run

At the end of August, I completed my first triathlon!!! It was a sprint version with a 500 meter swim, 10 mile bike ride, and 5K run. After some very early (5am) training swims, runs, and bike rides, I was extremely happy to have finished within my goal time and without falling off my bike;) I hope to do a lot more of these next summer time permitting. Brian came with me to cheer me on and take pics of the big event!

Summer Wrap Up!

Now that Fall is in full swing, it's about time I posted the rest of our summer fun pics! We saw cows & chickens at the dairy farm, completed a whole summer of swim lessons, and started school. Aiden started his first year of preschool and Michael and Logan are in their last year of preschool. They all love their teachers and friends. We are always busy but are having lots of fun. Enjoy the new pics!
