Double trouble!

Logan
Michael
Who would have thought boy hair cuts could cause so much trouble! I cannot tell you how many bad haircuts the boys have had in the past year. Just when I found someone who did a great job she left the kid salon that we usually go to. The past two haircuts have been with new people who don't really know what they are doing. Since the salon is so kid friendly I decided to give it one more try. As I was standing with Michael watching the girl cut his hair you can imagine my shock as she buzzed all of Michael's hair off the back of his head. Oops! She had put the wrong attachment on her buzzer! At this point their was nothing left to do but finish the haircut. The boys are now sporting the buzzed look with a few spikes in front. I will be glad when this haircut grows out and am on the lookout for a new place to take them. If only all hair salons had race cars to sit in and a Thomas the Train table to play with while you wait for your turn:):)

Aiden is 11 months old!

Aiden is growing up so fast! He is getting very close to walking and in the past week has begun to say Mama and Dada. He is so curious about everything and has to be by Michael and Logan all the time. He would rather play with their toys than his own baby toys....which does not go over very well with Michael and Logan. He is keeping me on my toes as he is very fast and now loves to open any cabinet within his reach. Only one more month to go before he gets to celebrate his first birthday!

Finally feeling better!

After a long battle of runny noses, horrible coughs, and bad stomach bugs, I think all three little boys are finally starting to feel better. I can tell you that it is no fun to have all three of your children come down with a stomach bug at the same time. You can only imagine the messes I have been cleaning up! Luckily today all three of my little men seem to be feeling much better.

Trouble!

Aiden is getting more and more busy. He can open drawers, climb over anything, and always wants to play with whatever toy Michael and Logan are playing with. It's a good thing he is so darn cute since he is becoming such a trouble maker:)

Trick or Treat

Brian and I were able to get the pirate ship done just in time for trick or treating and the boys were so excited to ride in it. We only lasted about an hour and then went home to pass out candy. I think Michael and Logan had just as much fun answering the door as they did trick or treating themselves. I was a little sad to finally put their costumes away but they sure did have a fun month of Halloween festivities.

Aiden is 10 months old!

A lot has changed with Aiden in the past month! He is now pulling up to a standing position wherever he can find something to hold on to and is cruising between things. He has mastered climbing stairs and is now able to get into EVERYTHING! He is very fast and can escape in the blink of an eye. I am trying to get brave enough to feed him more new foods but after the scare we had 5 months ago I dread trying anything new with him. So far we have stuck to baby cereals, fruits, veggies, and cheerios. One of these days I will have to try some new foods with him....especially since I plan to make him a dairy free birthday cake in a couple months. I can't believe he is almost one! Michael and Logan are becoming very protective of Aiden. If he is crying they will run and get a pacifier for him and try to calm him down. I am so glad they are such good big brothers. Aiden will always have someone looking out for him:)

More Halloween Fun

Yesterday was Halloween costume day at music class so the boys got to dress up for the second time. They really love wearing their pirate costumes....which is good because they have another party to attend tonight. Their friends Reese, Will, and Olivia are in the same music class so afterwards my friend Kristy and I took everyone out to lunch. All the kids had a lot of fun and even got a few Halloween treats from some of the people at the restaurant. Here are a few pictures from our fun morning out.

Pumpkin Patch Festival

Saturday we took the boys to a nearby farm to attend their pumpkin festival for the third year in a row. We started off by letting Michael and Logan take pony rides. I thought they might be afraid of the ponies but they loved them! Next it was on to the hayride out to the pumpkin patch. After they each found the perfect pumpkin we headed back to the festival for the pumpkin train. At first the boys seemed okay with riding the train but just as the ride was about to start Logan had a moment of panic and wanted Mommy to ride with him. The nice man running the train said it was okay so Mommy hopped in the pumpkin car and off we went. It was a great day and the boys had so much fun! Aiden spent most of the time in the baby bjorn with Daddy but did escape once to roam around the pumpkin patch. I love that the pumpkins are bigger than he is this year! Looking back at pictures from the past three years makes you realize how fast they grow up!

Three little pirate boys

Thursday night the boys attended a Halloween party hosted by my twins club. With about 70 kids plus their parents in attendance it was a little chaotic but a lot of fun. Here are some pictures from the evening. Keep your eye out for the pouty pirate and the cookie thieves!

Apple Pickin'

A friend and I took our kids to a nearby apple orchard today to pick apples. It is the first chilly day we have had in a while so it truly felt like Fall today. Michael, Logan, and Aiden had a blast picking apples with their friends. They were especially excited when they got to eat them right after picking them from the tree. Thanks to the boys we left with a huge bag full of apples!

Michael loves to pretend to drive. I think he would have taken off with the tractor if I would have let him!

Off to the apple trees!

We had only been there a minute before the boys picked their apples and were eating them.

Did you know that I can run and eat apples at the same time?
Logan guarding his apple tree.

Aiden hanging out with Mommy...wishing she would let him crawl around and play with all the apples!

I love the way Reese is carrying her apple bag like a purse. What a difference there is between boys and girls!

Michael and Olivia picking apples for everyone.

One last tree to stop at before heading home.

Michael and Logan ate two apples at the orchard and one in the car on the way home. I guess apples taste better when they're straight from the tree! Tonight we have their twins club Halloween party to attend. All three boys are dressing up as pirates. Have I mentioned how much I love Fall?
