Aiden's First Haircut

Last Friday Aiden had his first haircut. It was definitely time...although it made me a little sad to see his baby hair go. He was not very happy about the whole thing but luckily it was over pretty fast. Michael and Logan let Aiden go first then they each took their own turn. I recently found a great place to take the boys for haircuts and it just so happens to have an ice cream shop next door. If the boys sit still for haircuts then they get to have an ice cream cone when they are done. Aiden is starting to realize he does not eat some of the same foods as Michael and Logan so I am trying to find some special treats that he can have. His new favorite snack is cinnamon teddy grahams. He goes in for his yearly allergy test next month so we are keeping our fingers crossed that he has outgrown the dairy allergy. In the meantime he is really happy snacking on teddy grahams while his big brothers get their own special treats:)

Last day of music class

Last week Michael and Logan had their last day ever of music class. They have participated in the class for the past two years and next year it will be Aiden's turn. This past year was a lot of fun since their friends Reese, Will, and Olivia were also in the class. Now we are ready to move on to some fun summer activities and go to pool parties in Reese, Will, and Olivia's backyard!

Aiden is growing up so fast and becoming such a big boy! He loves to play with Michael and Logan...sometimes tormenting them by stealing their toys. However, today they got him back by putting him in the drawer of their train table and closing it. Aiden smiles and laughs all the time and I really think he is the happiest baby ever! I only have one more day with him all to myself as Michael and Logan's last day of school is this Friday! I know Aiden will be excited to have his big brothers home everyday and I can't wait to take them all to the pool and splash parks once it warms up:)

Sleeping boys

When Michael and Logan were babies we used to always find them sleeping in the exact same position. A couple weeks ago Brian and I caught them doing this again. I think it's very cute that they still love to sleep together. If we try to get them to sleep in their own beds they will wait for us to leave the room and then sneak in bed together. I am so glad they are best friends and hope they stay this close forever!

Happy Easter!

The boys really enjoyed Easter this year. It was a lot of fun watching them participate in Easter egg hunts and get so excited about the candy (egg filled cheerios for Aiden) in their Easter baskets. I think the pictures below show you just how happy they were!

Hunting for eggs!

The boys enjoyed their first experience hunting for Easter eggs. As you can see by their baskets they were very successful!

Easter eggs

Today we colored our Easter eggs. Michael and Logan really liked putting stickers on the eggs and Aiden was happy to watch from his high chair while snacking on cheerios. The boys are really excited about Easter this year. We have a bunny that lives in our yard and makes an appearance at least once a day so we have a lot of conversations about bunnies. We are planning to attend an Easter egg hunt Saturday morning and then have a nice family dinner on Sunday. It should be a great weekend!

Day at the museum

Last weekend my Mom and I took the boys out to lunch and to The Children's Museum. It was their first time going to the museum and they loved it. We now have a pass so we can go back whenever we want. We are actually going to head down there tomorrow and then meet Brian for lunch. Michael and Logan especially liked the Lego exhibit, the trains, and the dinosaurs. Aiden was just happy to be riding along in the stroller. It was a really fun day for them and they all slept the whole way home:):):)

Day at the zoo!

This morning when the boys woke up I surprised them with the news that we were going to the zoo. They were so excited to go see all the animals. We met some friends and all the kids had a lot of fun. We saw a lot of the animals, rode the train, and ended the day with a late lunch out at our favorite place. Michael and Logan talked about the zoo the whole way home in the car and asked if we could go back tomorrow:)
