Pumpkins!

This was our 4th year taking the boys to the pumpkin patch. This particular farm is a great place to take kids to pick pumpkins. Not only do you get to take a hayride out to the pumpkin patch, but they also have a pumpkin train, pony rides, bounce houses, and lots of other fun games and activities for kids. The boys had so much fun picking out their pumpkins this year. They were insistent on carrying them to the car all by themselves:) It was such a fun day and we can't wait to go back next year!

Zoo Boo

The boys love the zoo! We had some warmer days last week so we were able to go walk around one last time this year before it gets too cold. Michael and Logan especially loved seeing all the spooky Halloween decorations set up for Zoo Boo.

Running buddies

These are my little running buddies who cheer me on to keep going. This is my double jogging stroller which is not meant for three boys...however they begged to go with me on a run and I told them if they could find a way to sit together they could go. Believe it or not, they love to ride together and would probably sit still for hours if I could just keep running that long:)

9 years and counting!

On September 16th, Brian and I celebrated our 9th anniversary. It sure has gone by fast! We had a great time celebrating at dinner by ourselves and by having a special dinner at home with the boys.

While Michael was looking at some of our wedding pictures with me, he looked at me and said "Mommy...are you a princess?" I love my boys!

First day of Preschool!

I am a few weeks late in posting these pictures! Now the boys are in full swing at preschool and are loving it! They were sure to give Aiden lots of hugs and kisses before heading off to school without him. While Michael and Logan are at school I take Aiden with me on errands and to music class....which he loves. Michael and Logan are doing great at school and are making some new friends. Although....the other day they came home with a project where they were supposed to draw a picture of their friend in class. They both came home with each other's pictures. So cute!

Aiden at his first day of music class! It's finally his turn after watching Michael and Logan's class all last year.

Where are Michael, Logan, & Aiden?

www.busybeepaperie.com

This is the reason I have not been posting any pictures lately. I have been busy working with a graphic designer to create a logo and an online boutique for Busy Bee Paperie. If all goes well it should launch sometime this month! Once this is done and the rush of the Holiday season is over I will resume to my normal picture postings:)

Aiden's first ice cream cone!!!

We got some great news on Monday....Aiden is no longer allergic to milk!!! I took him down to Riley to have a food challenge where they fed him small increments of milk over a four hour period and watched him for any reactions. The first couple sips were a little nerve racking for me since the last time he had milk was at 5 months and we ended up calling 911 after he had an anaphylactic reaction. This time we had medical staff present in case anything went wrong but we didn't need them. Aiden did great and is now allowed to eat anything he wants. He has already sampled mac n cheese, grilled cheese, goldfish crackers, and ICE CREAM! He is doing great with all the new foods and loved eating his first ice cream cone with his big brothers.

More berries!

We headed back to our favorite berry farm to pick more berries with some friends. This time....raspberries and green beans. After we got home Michael and Logan helped me clean the berries and green beans so that we could make raspberry cobbler and green beans for dinner (to go with the chicken Brian grilled). They were really excited that they had picked the food we were eating for dinner! They like being my little helpers.

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Michael and Logan LOVE celebrating birthdays! I asked them what they wanted to get Brian for his birthday and they said a big cake! We headed to our favorite bakery and I let the boys pick out the cake. Of course they picked the one covered in sprinkles:) Good thing Brian loves sweets as much as they do!

Touch a Truck

The boys and I headed back to this year's Touch a Truck event since they had so much fun last year. This is a great event....especially for boys who love all types of trucks! The smiles on their faces when sitting in the trucks makes waiting in the long line well worth it:)

Sweet little Aiden

My sweet little Aiden is becoming quite the trouble maker! He has learned how to push chairs over to the kitchen counter so he can climb up and get in the cabinets. He also has thrown his first real temper tantrum! He is almost the same age Michael and Logan were when we brought him home from the hospital. While Michael and Logan were at vacation bible school we had some fun time alone. He loved his bath with out his big brothers stealing all the toys and somehow he managed to smuggle a tooth brush into the bath tub. He also has become very attached to his puppy! He has to sleep with it every night and always gives it a hug and kiss before laying down to go to sleep. I can't believe how fast he is growing up.

Busy Summer!

July has flown by! I can't believe I only have Michael and Logan home for one more month before they start preschool! We have been really busy with several play dates over the past month and I am really behind in posting pictures. In addition to all our activities, I am also working on some new and exciting things for Busy Bee Paperie. Hopefully I will have more news to share very soon! Here is a quick recap of our summer fun:)

Splash Park Play Date

Brian and I put Aiden to bed and let Michael and Logan stay up late to watch The Jungle Book. They loved the movie and were really excited to be up past their bedtime eating popcorn!

Vacation Bible School week was themed Night At The Museum. Michael and Logan had so much fun and our church did a great job with the kids.

We went to the musuem with Hazel and Kristy and took a couple turns on the carousel:)

We toured a local dairy farm and saw a lot of baby cows and chickens. Logan was so in love with the baby cows! He asked several times if he could bring one home with him. When we finally had to leave the farm he cried the whole way to the car. I had no idea he would be so attached to them. Michael and Aiden also liked seeing the cows but were not at all as attached as Logan was. Michael was really interested in watching the milk being poured into jugs from the machines we could see through the window.
